En definitiva, Horizon Chase 2 vuelve a demostrar que esta fórmula inspirada en los antiguos juegos de conducción funciona perfectamente a día de hoy y, con ello, Horizon Chase ha vuelto a la carga con una segunda entrega que está más que recomendada para aquellos que sean ya unos veteranos en los videojuegos o para aquellos que busquen un juego de carreras sencillo y divertido. Ojalá más gente se anime a probar su multijugador online en las próximas semanas y esperemos que Aquiris vuelva a sorprender con nuevos contenidos y expansiones de la misma manera que en Horizon Chase Turbo. Aunque es posible que tenga que pasar un tiempo, es muy probable que Horizon Chase 2 aterrice en el resto de consolas en el futuro.

Ultimately there is nothing mind-blowing about Horizon Chase 2, but there also really isn't anything negative either. The only drawback is that there isn't more of it, as the game is pretty quick to complete at roughly eight hours for the entire World Tour unless played on high difficulties that make it harder to progress. Horizon Chase 2 simply feels like a fun game that is perfect at giving a nostalgic feel of a 90s arcade racer, but with much better graphics to smooth it out.

Horizon Chase 2 is, in its most distilled form, the perfect modern arcade racer. Its mechanics are scaled back but refined, the drop-in/drop-out multiplayer works well and never fails to excite, and the game has just enough customization to make every racer feel at home behind the wheel. While I’d love to see some more cheeky references thrown in to add to the fun and the game could certainly benefit from some DLC tracks down the road, it’s nevertheless filled to the brim with a charm and a love-letter to classic coin-op racers that’ll keep fans coming back for a long while. If arcades were still around and prevalent, Horizon Chase 2 would be my cabinet of choice any day of the week.

Continuista pero con todo lo positivo que esto conlleva, Horizon Chase 2 mejora en muchos aspectos a lo ya visto en el anterior título y pese a su limitado contenido por el momento, ofrece muchas horas de adictiva y frenética diversión 100% asegurada. 

This is the best kind of sequel. Horizon Chase 2 is the kind of game that makes its predecessor look and feel obsolete in comparison, with vastly better graphics, AI, tracks, and controls. It might not exactly have a lot of cars for you to choose, but there is still so much content in here that complaining about it almost feels like an annoying nitpick. Aquiris has clearly managed to outdo themselves, with this game being one of the best retro-styled racers available in any console or PC right now.

Horizon Chase 2 is quick to jump into, and while it might not be packed with content, it's a ton of fun to play.

Horizon Chase 2 is an outstanding arcade racing game. Although it has only 10 cars, it brings customization options, over 80 tracks, a captivating art style, and improves upon virtually everything else compared to its predecessor.

You could argue that Horizon Chase 2 plays things safe, but when what’s on offer is this much fun, does it really matter? Developer Aquiris may have stuck to its tried and tested formula, but with a bold new visual style and improved gameplay across the board, there’s enough here to make the experience feel fresh. And whether you like to race alone against the CPU or online against others, there’s something for you here. For arcade racing game fans eager for something new to test their skills with, this is very highly recommended.

Horizon Chase 2 is a solid sequel that adds some new pieces that make it a worthy sequel. I do wish the track design was a little better and the upgrades worked across all cars instead of having to dedicate it to the one I am driving. Still there is a lot to love here, the soundtrack, the speed, and the pure arcade excitement. If you have any reverence for games from the arcade era, this is a no-brainer. Definitely worth checking out.

Horizon Chase 2 brings more of the same very fun, even more so when we share the screen with more people. Wrapped in the infectious electronic musical score, the frenetic races have gains in the relationship between control and speed and the beautiful stylized representation of real locations, but also presents losses in the number of tracks and cars in its modest Round the World Round.

Horizon Chase 2 es un juego que te retrae al pasado. A ese momento en el que echabas monedas en las recreativas y disfrutabas de las diferentes carreras disponibles. Eso sí, si lo que buscas es un juego más apegado a lo que vemos en la actualidad, puede que este no sea la mejor opción. Por lo demás, es una obra de arte de los juegos arcade.
