Although SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed remains truthful to its predecessor, it relies on it a little too much. The core, fun gameplay is still there, but so are many of characters and maps. While it tries to modernize the classic formula of the original, it fails on the new additions it brings.

Dunjungle presents a charismatic, accessible, and competent adventure within the action roguelite genre. Its pixel art direction, light humor, and agile gameplay make each attempt fun, even when the repetition of rooms starts to appear. Although it doesn't reinvent the genre and clearly follows references from other successful titles, the game still builds its own identity and offers a solid experience for those seeking something uncomplicated, addictive, and with constant progression.

Baki Hanma: Blood Arena lives up to what Baki really is. Inherently campy, a true fan will understand how the game manages to capture the essence of the IP as a huge parody. Cloning Punch-Out!! is a cool proposal, however, it relies too heavily on the player's good faith in valuing the concept over the borderline-acceptable execution. It definitely doesn't serve to introduce the series to a new audience, but at least they captured the spirit of Itagaki’s work.

With beautiful visual presentation and exemplary pixel art, 9 Years of Shadows doesn't quite achieve the same level of refinement in its gameplay and story. Some boss fights are truly fun and challenging, but the rest falls into the realm of average quality. This is a game I would recommend to anyone looking to indulge in the aesthetic beauty of sophisticated pixel art, as that's where it truly excels.

Arashi Gaiden isn't just a new addition to the Pocket Bravery universe. It offers a unique experience that blends action, strategy, and precision in a fast-paced and challenging turn-based system. With stylized pixel art, an immersive setting, and creative mechanics, the game stands out for rewarding tactical thinking and perfect execution, turning each level into a bloody and thrilling puzzle. Even with a difficulty curve that can frustrate the less patient, the title rewards those who dedicate themselves, delivering an intense and fun ninja journey.

Hell Clock is one of the most remarkable projects in the Brazilian indie scene in 2025, not only for its quality as a game, but for the pride it carries in portraying a brutal and underexplored slice of Brazilian history. It skillfully combines challenging gameplay, a rich setting, and a strong cultural identity, delivering a unique, immersive, and necessary experience.

Combining two different themes that complement each other well, Gaucho and the Grassland is a Brazilian game worthy of praise. While on the one hand we need to take care of crops, animals, and farms, on the other we have to help friends and take care of a mystical world. The gameplay is simple and fun, with a production full of charisma, filled with references to Brazilian culture, particularly to the gaucha one. In short, a great and neighborly game that's a must-have for your library.

Bloodless is a bold action game that requires the player to pay attention to the enemy patterns and master their character's reaction options. Within an eastern ambiance presented through unique aesthetics, the game is an easy recommendation to any player who likes a good challenge.

Pocket Bravery is definitely a Brazilian game worth checking out for several reasons: it is a work made on Brazilian soil that is no match for any other name in the genre, whether in terms of structure, visuals or sound; it can be a great choice for those who want a cool fighting game at a more affordable price; and it carries the passion that many of us have for this 90s genre and also adds several references and aspects of our culture. A fighter like this certainly cannot be underestimated by anyone.

Mark of the Deep is a title that knows how to take advantage of the best of the metroidvania and soulslike genres to create an engaging and challenging adventure. With accessible mechanics and a friendly learning curve, the game manages to balance exploration, intense combat and captivating narrative, resulting in a memorable experience. The mysterious setting, combined with the well-developed mythology, makes Rookie's journey immersive and rewarding. Despite some inconsistencies, especially in the dubbing, the game stands out as an excellent example of the potential of the Brazilian industry and can already be considered one of the best games ever developed in Brazil.
