As one of the cutest and most laidback Metroidvanias I've played, I can easily recommend Jumper Jon to anyone looking for a breezy time. 👻

My question at the beginning of this review was rhetorical - Saviorless was always worth saving. At the end of the day, Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider is a solid retro-inspired action game that does a good job of offering a satisfying albeit brief campaign. You could definitely do a lot worse but there is substantial room for improvement, that's for sure.

Unusual Findings is a master class in old-school adventure games and even gives Return to Monkey Island a run for its money.

I'm happy to say that Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway is the best game in the series so far. Whether you're a nostalgic '90s kid or a modern-day scamp, you're bound to have a tubular time racing with all of these familiar chums.

Imp of the Sun is a beautiful game that I wanted to love but its frustrating gameplay issues definitely get in the way of the fun.

Greak: Memories of Azur is one of the most beautiful games out there with its captivating visuals and immersive audio. However, its gameplay is riddled with issues such as vague progression clues and clunky combat which make the experience frequently frustrating.

Although I had fun playing Ponpu, it made me want to dive back into Bomberman as it isn't quite as satisfying as Hudson's classic.

With a lovely presentation and unique gameplay that you can enjoy with a friend, Sky Racket is a must-have indie for any retro lover.
