Bahnsen Knights beckons, promising a unique blend of interactive storytelling, pulse-pounding minigames, and an atmospheric experience that transcends the boundaries of traditional gaming narratives.

Dungeon Drafters is easily one of my new favorites. The game combines engaging deck-building mechanics with a fun, vibrant magical setting to create an experience fans of ARPGs and TCGs alike can enjoy.

Evil Wizard is a solid Metroidvania title that wants to cast a spell on you with its humor. If it succeeds, you just might find yourself with a new favorite game.

Mullet Madjack is something between a clever parody and a loving tribute to the genres it was inspired by, full of both clever critique and engaging writing. Throw a fast-paced, exciting, and super-addictive gameplay loop on top of that, and you have my new favorite title.

Nova Lands offers an interesting, if familiar, little journey with a fun enough gameplay loop. The game’s clean graphics focus on automation should provide a refreshing and fun experience for fans of titles like Factorio and Forager. While the title lacks in scope and replayability, the overall gameplay remains enjoyable, though it’s not lacking in room for improvement. With refinements to island variation, resource distribution, replayability, and other areas, Nova Lands has the potential to become a truly stellar gaming experience that keeps players coming back for more.

Roots of Pacha is a game that innovates on the farming sim design, offering familiar gameplay with fresh new mechanics and a unique setting. Fans of the genre or those looking to get into it should definitely give Roots of Pacha a try.

Varney Lake is a great interactive story, presented in a way that’ll appeal to casual readers and tome-spelunkers alike. The story is interesting, the characters are great, and the modest $10 price tag reflects the game’s shorter run time.
