Whether or not Lullaby of Life resonates with the player is entirely based on whether they can still find wonder in the basics: the sounds of insignificant interactables and abstract shapes.

Despite its flaws, Unusual Findings is a great point-and-click puzzle adventure game which acts as a love letter to the 1980s. Filled with retro pop culture references, cheesy dialogue and memorable characters, this is one that I certainly want to play again, especially with its complex puzzle solving which can differ in each playthrough depending on your choices.

Varney Lake is a wonderful experience that combines visual novels with puzzles, heartwarming nostalgia with chilling terror, all in a classic pixel style.

Vlad Circus: Curse of Asmodeus is a pointless sequel that offers an explanation to a character that we didn't care about in the first game, and rather than improving on its predecessor's mechanics, it completely strips them back - offering an unneeded, lesser experience.

Vlad Circus: Descend Into Madness tells an intriguing story through excellent pixel art and sound effects. Although its gameplay does have its flaws, this was an enjoyable six-hour sit down.
