Though entirely suitable to a younger audience, SOPA is a game that I comfortably enjoyed as a mature gamer. Simplistic, entertaining and humorous, the quest to find the stolen spud is the perfect duration and doesn’t outstay it’s welcome.

Otra de las partes interesantes de Sopa: Tale of the Stolen Potato brota del propio plato que da nombre al juego, que la sopa que sirve como pistoletazo de salida para la trama sea un guiso típico de varios países hispanohablantes en América no es baladí —como tampoco lo era en despelote la venta de cevichochos—, atesora un universo repleto de significado.

SOPA serves up a whimsical broth of hat-wearing frogs, stolen potatoes, and love for the adventure genre, but it feels just a little light on seasoning and should have stewed for a little while longer.
