Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny is a lighthearted, accessible dungeon crawler meant for families and longtime Nick fans who want a colorful nostalgia trip. For kids, it's an exciting crossover packed with humor, fantasy, and familiar characters. For adults, it's a fun, but shallow experience best enjoyed with friends on the couch. Weaknesses like repetitive environments, simplistic mechanics, and limited progression systems are noticeable, yet when judged as a family-friendly romp, it succeeds where it matters most which is bringing beloved Nicktoons together in a way that celebrates their personalities while giving players an easygoing adventure. If you're a parent looking for a cooperative game to play with your kids, or a millennial eager for a nostalgia-fueled night with friends, rolling the dice on Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny is worth the throw. Just don't expect it to be more than a light, breezy quest.

Hell Clock provides the thrill of Diablo II and PoE build craft with the rogue-like story elements and inter-run progression of Hades. It loses a little love in the grind for resources and progression and boring enemies, but the gameplay loop is addictive enough to make up for it in short intervals. Strongly Recommend.

Haste makes wasted robots in this rambunctious roguelike FPS

The genre is overloaded with Hades, Curse of the Gods, and Hollow Knight knock-offs, and it’s difficult for games akin to the Greats to really stand on their own. That’s where Mark of the Deep comes in. It does enough to tick off what I want from a Soulsike-come-Metroidvania(ish) to deserve your attention while still doing its own thing; I just wish one of these fish guys had a map or two on hand.

All-in-all, Sky Oceans: Wings for Hire is a decent enough RPG with an engaging story. It should run flawlessly on pretty much anything you can throw it at made in the last decade and there's a demo available to try it out before committing to it.

I’m conflicted about Raccoo Venture. On the one hand, it’s a very pleasant entry into an underserved genre, at least from a presentation standpoint, and it runs great across a wide variety of hardware, including the Steam Deck. There’s a huge variety of things to collect and unlock, and levels will no doubt require several playthroughs. On the other hand, I found it frustrating to play more often than not, in part because of this. Ultimately I found myself not enjoying it as much as I would have liked, but if you’re a fan of this type of platformer then it might be worth your time.

A wonderfully unique experience housed in an average game, The Eternal Cylinder tells a strong tale but executes it in a pedestrian way. Play it for the story, not the gameplay.

Overall Hellbound meets expectations as a retro style 90’s Shooter. Whilst it does not innovate as much as some people would like, this game has enough about it to be worth the pickup.
