A pesar de su infantil aspecto, Legends of Kingdom Rush es un RPG táctico más que competente con el potencial de mantenerte enganchado decenas de horas. Su precioso apartado artístico, su rejugabilidad y en general lo divertida que resulta su propuesta hacen que cualquiera que disfrute del género (o quienes estén planteando iniciarse en él) están casi moralmente obligados a darle una oportunidad: no se arrepentirán.

Ironhide ha sabido crear un excelente roguelite/rpg por turnos, el cual hará las delicias de cualquier seguidor de estos géneros. El único requisito es tener ganas de disfrutar y ser un amante de los hexágonos. Completar la historia nos llevará poco más de 7 horas con suerte en dificultad normal, en cambio, esto no será lo único a conseguir, encontraremos retos diarios que van cambiando cada 24 horas y un sistema de logros que nos permite desbloquear nuevos personajes. Sin duda un sensacional título para amantes del género o gente que quiera iniciarse en él.

Un juego de estrategia, rol y batallas por turnos, que ha sabido destacar y hacerme disfrutar de su experiencia con mucha delicadeza, sencillez, y una accesibilidad sobresaliente. Una obra que os aseguro que os va a enganchar, os va a hacer gozar de experiencias ágiles y divertidas, dentro de un tipo de producto que suele tener una dureza en sus primeras horas más que conocidas, y que Legends of Kingdom Rush se salta con una increíble facilidad para plantear una grata sorpresa, llena de ese carisma que siempre ha marcado las obras del mundo de Kingdom Rush, y que ahora toman este curioso y cuidado cariz.

Legends of Kingdom Rush is a lot of fun, but its port to PC is a bit underwhelming. Lack of controller support for such a mechanically simple game is pretty lazy. There’s no new content, either, so players coming from the mobile version will have seen everything already. With such enjoyable gameplay and sense of style, Legends of Kingdom Rush deserves a more thorough makeover for PC and consoles, not just a basic port.

Not a bad strategy game, Legends Of Kingdom is less tower defense and more a hexagonal turn-based battler. It’s all presented like a cartoon in-game with comic book-style cutscenes which is all really nice and pleasant on the eye, it helps engage you and keep you playing. I like the general loop and it’s fine in short bursts but to be honest it never feels like it changes or mixes it up. Yeah alright it has random multiple choice encounters with dice but that always feels rigged, the combat just turns into ranged battles and it all just gets too samey that I soon tire of it all. It is funny as it looks like a mobile game and would actually be a good mobile game due to the gameplay loop and encounter times. Overall Legend of Kingdom is a strategy game that starts off strong but never changes gears making it a cruise rather than a road trip.
