Desvelado is a warning that big ideas don't need to be taken too far. Its strength is that it is clear, precise, and sure of itself. Every mechanic supports the main loop without going off track. As a result, the experience feels full, even though it's not very long.

As much as I wanted to like Mark of the Deep, I found it to be more annoying than enjoyable. Although the unexpectedly pleasant soundtrack and vibrant visuals indicate genuine creative effort, the graceless combat detracts from the overall experience. Combat becomes a tedious grind instead of an enjoyable challenge due to the weak dodges, unresponsive attacks, and enemies' excessive damage absorption.

Enigma of Fear offers strong value for its price, combining a rich narrative, challenging puzzles, and an atmospheric world. It may not be the longest game, but its depth and replayability make it worthwhile. The graphics and sound design are notable for their creativity, with a striking mix of 2D and 3D visuals and an atmospheric soundtrack that draws you deeper into the game's world.

Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports is an ideal game for those familiar with the Looney Tunes series. The game's simple controls and spontaneous designs make it suitable for kids and other casual players seeking a good time. It may not have the finesse of other titles in its genre and isn't as endearing or deep as competing sports games.

Bloodless provides an engaging experience with challenging and fun combat, a badass elderly protagonist, an interesting premise that I enjoyed where her determination to keep a vow is at odds with all the violence around her, and some interesting and eccentric characters who provide a bit of comic relief to the otherwise tense atmosphere.

Overall, Astor: Blade of the Monolith is shaping up to be an absolutely amazing RPG, aside from that one major flaw with combat. If you can look past the issue at hand, there’s a magical world that’s just waiting to be explored and secrets to discover throughout its rich story, and let’s not forget the mountains of side quests just waiting to be conquered. There’s without a doubt great potential and with a few minor changes or some extra polish, this game can easily become a hidden gem.

While DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing does little to set itself apart from its contemporaries, it offers a satisfactory kart racing experience with a friendly price tag. The lack of a battle mode hinders the replayability factor, and that is a shame because it would have been the cherry on top of the sundae. If you ever wanted to play as Shrek and friends in a modern kart racer, DreamWorks All-Stars Kart Racing certainly scratches that itch.
