ABOUT THE GAME

Zaetherfall is a visual novel / shmup focused on a war of factions, propaganda, and decisions made at the edge. Three rival aces—URA, EUPRA, and the Sacred Eastern Dominion—are forced to cooperate as Zael Aether advances as an absolutist theocracy that never negotiates: it purifies.

Between missions, the campaign unfolds through visual novel interludes: political tension, cultural clashes, fragile alliances, and the true cost of holding together a coalition that should never have existed. Every faction carries its own internal dramas. In combat, those same fractures surface as real-time communications: orders, friction, pressure… and silences that say more than any speech.

In gameplay, Zaetherfall blends arcade pace with clear tools:

  • Power-ups, projectiles, and missiles to control the field.

  • Fire and Plasma weapons to adapt to every encounter.

  • Two shields with short windows and real cooldowns:
